Our little bit of heaven is located in beautiful East Texas. We were both raised on small dairy farms, and we knew that someday we would like to have a cattle operation. We never expected to have longhorns, but after looking at several breeds we made the choice to give them a try. We began raising Texas Longhorns in 1987, and have been "hooked" on them since the day our original six pairs made themselves at home on our place. Family and neighbors all came to look at these "wild" critters and laughed, telling us that we would be sorry. Well, for all those who doubted, we are still here and still loving these magnificent animals. We are members of both the ITLA and TLBAA, and believe that there is good hearted honest folks in both associations Our ranch has been the site of many pasture parties, cattle drives, and just plain old fun meetings.
Recently we have several inquiries about our brand. Of course the M stands for our name, Marquess. The arrow represents the way we conduct our business. Straight as an arrow! All our cattle are sold with a 100% satisfaction, if you are not happy you can exchange or return your purchase. We believe in fair market value and reflect that with our money back policy. We have a pasture full of beautiful long- horned females bred to some of the best bulls in the industry. Starting in 1999 we began an embryo program utilizing our superior cows. All our embryos will be carried by Longhorn females so the calves will develop the traits they can only be taught by these magnificent animals.
